Corner of a House is a new program started this year at the Applied Technology Center.

During the nine-week class students literally build a corner of a house, complete with everything from floors and walls and windows, to electricity and plumbing.  

The class is designed to offer students an introduction to the various skills needed in the construction trades industry.  Students will also explore different career opportunities and will learn how other academic subjects-mathematics, technical reading and writing, etc.-are used in the industry.  

Students interested in enrolling in the full-year Building Trades program are encouraged to complete Corner of a House.
