The weather collection instruments are attached to the solar panels located immediately above the ATC offices.   The system is manufactured by Davis Instruments and is a Vantage Pro model. Data is collected every 2.5 seconds.
The data from the collection instruments is transmitted wirelessly to this console located in the ATC offices.
	This computer (clearly not one of the Center's recent purchases!) logs the data and converts it to a "live" display. The data is uploaded to the ATC web site every 10 minutes. During severe weather, the web site receives an average of 5,000 to 8,000 "hits" per week.  The largest number of hits recorded in any week was 12,213 during the week of 2/15/2003.
